Turn a handle instead of pushing rods. This 3D-printed kit replaces the stock steering mechanism on the Jackson Coosa FD with a single handle you rotate to steer the rudder.
The stock steering rods on the Coosa FD work, but they require you to push and pull at ankle level while you are already focused on paddling and fishing. This kit replaces that system with a single turn handle mounted within easy reach — one motion, intuitive to use, no adjustment period.
Printed in durable materials tested on the water. Designed by someone who fishes from the Coosa FD regularly and got tired of the original mechanism.
