Services

Everything we do
for specialty contractors.

We set up your software, connect it, train your team and keep your books. Pick one piece or hand us the whole thing. You work with the two founders directly, and with our CFO on the books.

The two things we get asked for most.

Someone on your side before you sign anything.

We are an independent advisory. We look at how your business runs today and tell you what to fix, what to buy and what to cancel.

Fractional CTO

A technology leader on your side every month, without the salary. We own the roadmap, run your vendors and keep the stack working as you grow.

  • Your technology roadmap
  • Vendors managed for you
  • What to buy and what to cancel
  • Small automations and dashboards
  • A monthly numbers review
  • Someone to call before you sign

Not a bookkeeper, not staffing and not unlimited hours. Bigger projects are quoted on their own.

Technology and operations assessment

We walk your business the way it runs: estimating, sales, the field, project management, customer service and the books. You get back what is costing you money and what is missing.

The fee is credited toward whatever you decide to fix.

Software selection

We shortlist the platforms that fit how your crews work, your team and your budget. We run the demos with you and tell you which one to buy and why.

Built once, on your real data, and checked before you rely on it.

Most contractors have six tools that do not talk to each other. We design how they fit, set them up and automate the steps someone used to have to remember.

Implementation and integration

Done-for-you setup. Installed, configured with your real data, connected to your other tools and checked on real jobs. A defined list with an end.

Workflow design and automation

The path from a phone call to a paid invoice, built once: lead routing, follow-up that happens on its own, scheduling, closeout and invoicing.

Move scheduling to Jobber

If scheduling crews is hard in JobNimbus, we move your jobs into Jobber. The quote comes from a scan of your data before any work starts.

StashGrade CRM

A sales CRM set up for your trade. Every lead lands in one place with an automatic first reply. Homeowners book by territory, follow-up keeps going and close rate shows by rep. It ties into your StashGrade numbers.

  • Unlimited users
  • Moving your old data is quoted separately
  • It is a sales CRM, not a crew scheduler

Ongoing support and reselling

We stay on as your business grows. We also resell and support select platforms, so we can often source your software subscriptions and support them directly.

Software your team uses six months later.

We train people on the setup they actually have, in your building or over video, and we come back to check that it stuck.

Training and adoption

We train your people on your own setup, write the internal how-to documents and put the habits in place so it is still being used six months later.

Onsite intensive

A day and a half in your building, with your people, on your systems. We sit with estimating, the field, project management and the books. You get what is costing you money and the order to fix it in.

The full fee is credited toward any project or retainer you book after.

Bookkeeping and finance, done for you.

The books side of the same job, handled by our CFO, who brings nearly two decades of accounting and finance experience. Categories fixed in QuickBooks, a chart of accounts built for how you build, a monthly close you can run the business on, and clean numbers years before you sell.

Every engagement starts with a free review of your books and what you need.

  • Books diagnosticA full review of your books and a written fix list.
  • Categorization fixCosts moved to where they belong, like labor into cost of goods.
  • Product types on every saleSo margin by product line can be measured.
  • Owner pay setupOwner pay on the books at a market rate, through payroll.
  • Catch-up cleanupThe backlog worked and old balance sheet clutter cleared.
  • Job costing setupA chart of accounts rebuilt for your trade, with job costing.
  • Monthly closeReconciliations, WIP schedule, accruals and a clean P&L.
  • Exit-ready booksNumbers that hold up when a buyer looks.

Not sure which one you need?

Tell us what is slowing you down. A 30 minute call is enough for us to say what we would do first, and what we would skip.
